BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. — Two men are facing multiple felonies including maintaining a drug house after a search last week.
Detectives with the Southwest Enforcement Team, Michigan State Police (MSP) troopers and Berrien County Sheriff's Office deputies found methamphetamine, suspected MDMA—also known as molly—in orange pill form, digital scales, packaging materials and other items troopers said are associated with dealing drugs at a home near Miller Drive and Edwards Street after a search on May 27, according to MSP troopers.
They also found a pistol without a serial number, referred to by troopers as a "ghost gun," and ammunition.
Detectives arrested a 37-year-old man and a 41-year-old man, both from Niles Township, on multiple felony charges including drug possession and maintaining a drug house.
The 37-year-old is also facing charges for possession with intent to deliver and possession of ammunition.
Troopers said the 41-year-old was out on bond and faces charges for felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, and a bond violation.
Detectives are still investigating and did not initially release any other details.
