RL Cares Brain Health Fund

Benevolent Fund is raising money for RFL Benevolent Fund
The Seriously Injured Players Fund (formerly the Benevolent Fund) provides relief for people who have been seriously injured whilst playing rugby league.

Story

What is the purpose of the fund?

The Rugby League Cares Brain Health Fund has been established to allow the sport to deliver a programme of support that educates, protects and assists players and their families with issues concerning neurodegenerative illness, such as dementia.

How is the programme being funded?

The Rugby League Cares Brain Health Fund is entirely funded by donations and the proceeds from fundraising events. As an independent charity, RL Cares relies on the goodwill of rugby league supporters to fund much of its important work and will be running a series of events and activities to generate the money needed for the Brain Health Fund to achieve its objectives.
