As we work to build Naftiko, we are interested in talking with people about what they are facing when it comes to putting APIs to work. Throughout the summer we will be having conversations with people we know, and hopefully many people we do not know about what they face when it comes to API integration and consumption at scale. We are looking to understand the business and technical challenges everyone is facing when it comes to the consumption of any APIs and data currently, or as part of recent work.
To help drive Naftiko market research we are looking to learn more from you about how you see the world of API consumption, framing our conversations along these aspects of the work you do putting APIs and data to work.

We are providing three ways in which you can take part in our research, or possibly in an ongoing way as we are working to build Naftiko open-source standards and tooling that will help you build out your approach to API integration and consumption.

Our goal with this ongoing research is to talk with API practitioners who work within companies, organizations, institutions, and government agencies about API integration and consumption. The market research of these conversations will drive the Naftiko open-source product roadmap, but you also have the opportunity for our conversation to be published as an API Evangelist Conversation for others to learn from. Then we will be taking the highlights from these conversations and using them in a more polished and higher production podcast series that we will be distributing and promoting beginning September 2025.
API discovery, integration, and consumption is becoming more of a priority by companies, and we would like to understand the reasons why. Naftiko is just getting started when it comes to defining our approach to contributing open-source and commercial solutions that help redefine API integration and consumption. To do this, we need your honest perspective of what is needed to make your life easier right now when it comes to managing many different APIs across many different integrations and teams. We’ll let you choose whether a quick survey submission, private conversation, or podcast conversation is right for you.
