Russet Perry is an attorney, former CIA officer, and former prosecutor running to represent District 31 in the Virginia State Senate. This is going to be one of the most competitive races of the 2023 cycle: it will "probably be a tipping point seat and could determine which party controls the Senate" (The Washington Post; June 9, 2023).
