Women's Basketball Announces Hiring of New Assistant Coach

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's basketball program has announced the hiring of a new assistant coach, Jovana Subasic.

"We're excited to add Jovana to our staff," said Head Coach Bradley Davis. "Her playing experience and her background in analytics have obvious value. However, Jovana's energy and work ethic stand out and will make her a great addition to our Pacific family. She will be involved with multiple aspects of the program, including scouting & analytics, player development and recruiting."

Subasic was most recently a student-athlete at the Pac-12 program, Oregon State. While at Oregon State, she gained experience in data analytics and data visualization for scouting, recruiting and player development while competing at the highest level of college basketball. The 6'4 forward was a key piece of three different postseason runs, including making the Round of 32 in the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. Subasic played in the top Serbian League before immigrating to the United States to pursue basketball. She has coached all levels of players, including college and professional level basketball players.

Subasic played four seasons for Pac-12 program Washington State, appearing in 72 games and averaging 8.4 points per game in her final season with the Cougars while being a vital part of Washington State's rise to the top of the Pac-12. In her two seasons with the Beavers, Subasic played 13 games, shooting above 40% in her first year with the program.

Subasic earned a B.A. in International Business and Finance from Washington State and an MBA and an MSB in Business Analytics from Oregon State.

Subasic replaces Tiger alum Geanna Luaulu-Summers who accepted the Director of Creativity and Student-Athlete support position within Oregon Women's Basketball in August of this year.
