World Refugee Day

A Critical Year for Displaced Children

This year marks the 25th World Refugee Day and the 75th anniversary of the 1951 Refugee Convention, at a time when displaced children and their families face growing hunger, insecurity, and uncertainty. As humanitarian funding declines, millions are struggling to meet their basic needs and protect their children from harm.

World Refugee Day is an opportunity to recognise the resilience of people forced from their homes and to renew our commitment to the rights, protection, and support they need to build safer futures.
