NEW RPP MILESTONES TOOL
We are excited to introduce a new NNERPP-produced RPP tool: “What Are the Essential Milestones New RPPs Might Work Towards in Their First Year? A Self-Directed Guide Inviting New RPPs to Reflect on Key Milestones in Year One.” This tool is the result of an ongoing effort by a group of NNERPP members to sort through the ups and downs of their own RPP experiences and distill them into a set of things they wish they knew in the early stages of their RPP. It is intended to help teams in the initial phases of starting an RPP in navigating and prioritizing suggested first-year activities and goals, as well as potential stumbling blocks.

We invite you and your RPP team to explore the tool

NNERPP EXTRA
We just published the first edition of Volume 5 of NNERPP Extra, our quarterly magazine aiming to deliver key insights from the intersection of education research, policy, and practice! It's hard to believe that this is our fifth year producing this magazine. Because it felt like a momentous occasion to mark and celebrate, we thought we would take a breath last quarter to evaluate, reflect on, and make some updates to the magazine. We are thrilled to be back with a fresh new look! Along with the new design, we are pleased to share a special expanded issue this round, which includes no fewer than six brand-new articles:

EVENTS

In this week’s NNERPP workshop, we introduced the new NNERPP-produced RPP tool “What Are the Essential Milestones New RPPs Might Work Towards in Their First Year? A Self-Directed Guide Inviting New RPPs to Reflect on Key Milestones in Year One” and invited participants to work through a test protocol and ask any questions they had. The Milestones Guide shares a short set of milestones teams might work towards and stumbling blocks to watch out for in an RPP's first year, based on recommendations from NNERPP members representing both research and practice settings. With this guide, we aim to support emerging RPP teams as they collaboratively plan their work during their first year together. The workshop allowed participants to learn more about and explore the new tool. The group shared valuable insights while working through the tool.

If you weren’t able to join us, you can find the recording for this workshop on our
Virtual Brown Bag website.
