Willy Wonka actor Timothée Chalamet was filmed waving at his fans as he left Hertford College.

Fans, Ana Gomes, Giovanna Xavier and Ana Victoria Cespedes said they waited three hours outside Hertford College on Saturday night to see the star.

The three women captured the moment the actor got into the car after a day on set.

Timothée Chalamet was seen waving to screaming fans out of the car window.

‘Dune’ actor Timothée Chalamet will star as Willy Wonka in the Paul King-directed feature film.

The story, scripted by Horrible Histories actor Simon Farnaby and based on Roald Dahl’s beloved character, will focus on Willy Wonka’s adventures as a young man – before he opened his famous chocolate factory.
