Official Rules & Guidelines

Superbattles is an international multi-stage Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament.


There will be eight participating teams:

4x Invited teams (to be announced)
4x Qualified teams (from two open qualifiers)

The qualified and invited teams will be placed in an 8-team group stage, and will fight for playoffs in a single round robin format.

Top four teams will advance to the LAN playoffs stage (more details will be announced soon).

The prize pool for the Superbattles tournament is 10.000$.

In addition to the prize pool, the winning team will represent Romania at EURO CS:GO 2022 (25.000 euros prize pool, part of Digital Crusade 2022 LAN Finals, Oradea Arena 5-10 July). Furthermore, the winning team will represent Romania at IESF World Championship (LAN finals in Bali, 1-12 December).

IMPORTANT INFO

If the Superbattles winning team does not have 5 (five) Romanian players, the core 3 (three) Romanian players who won the Superbattles competition will be allowed to select 2(two) Romanian players to complete the roster of the Romanian National Team.

The following rules & guidelines apply for all Superbattles participating teams and teams who sign up for the Superbattles qualifiers.

Roster requirements:

All players must be at least 16 years of age.
Each team is allowed 5 (five) starting players and 2 (two) substitute players.
Contracted players are not allowed to stand-in for any organisation to which they are not contracted.
Each team must have at least 3 (three) Romanian players in their starting line-ups at all times.

All registered players must be of European nationality and residency (excluding Russian residents).

All qualifying matches will be played on the FACEIT platform and all teams must register for the qualifiers by using the FACEIT platform.
All participating players must have FACEIT accounts linked with their CSGO.

Any use of unauthorised 3rd party tools (cheats, hacks, trainers etc.) is strictly forbidden.

All group stage qualified teams will be provided with an additional rulebook pertaining to the rules and guidelines of Superbattles.
