Valspar Championship 7 Days of Giveaways Official Rules

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The “Valspar Championship 7 Days of Giveaways” sweepstakes promotion (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on December 1, 2021 and ends 5 p.m. December 7, 2021. This is a seven (7) day period. The Valspar Championship shall have the sole discretion in determining the timeliness of any action or inaction related to this Sweepstakes. The Valspar Championship reserves the right to terminate, suspend or change the Sweepstakes at any time for any reason.
ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal United States residents who are 18 years of age, or older, at time of entry. Employees, officers, members and representatives of The Valspar Championship their affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, dealers, advertising and promotion agencies and members of the immediate family (mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and spouse, regardless of where they reside) and household members of each such employee, officer, member and representative, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter and participate. The Valspar Championship has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant. Sweepstakes is void wherever restricted or prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes period, complete all required actions and/or submission fields. Entries that do not meet all requirements will be disqualified and ineligible to win. Once the actions as described in the social media post have been completed correctly, users will be automatically entered into the drawing for this Sweepstakes period.
There is a limit of one (1) entry per person for each giveaway. Multiple entries by (1) individual will not be entered into the Sweepstakes. Individuals will be limited to winning (1) prize over the course of the 7-Day Giveaway period.
ENTRY INFORMATION AND SWEEPSTAKES COMMUNICATIONS: As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant gives consent for Sponsor to obtain and deliver his or her name, address and other information to third parties for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and to comply with applicable laws, regulations and rules. Any information entrants provide to Sponsor may be used to communicate with entrant in relation to this Sweepstakes or on a Sweepstakes winners’ list.
WINNER SELECTION/ODDS OF WINNING: Within 24-hours of each giveaway notification on social media, one (1) prize winner will be selected by a representative of the Administrator, in a random drawing from all eligible entries received within the Sweepstakes period. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Thirteen (13) prize winners will be selected over the course of the twelve (7) day period
WINNER NOTIFICATION; PRIZE CLAIM: Potential winner will be notified via the social media platform on which the sweepstakes entry was submitted and will have five (5) business days to respond to the winner notification and claim the prize. Upon responding to the winner notification, potential winner must provide their name and physical address. In the event of noncompliance with this requirement, or if a prize or winners notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to a potential winner, or if a potential winner cannot be contacted for any reason, or if a potential winner does not reply to the winners notification within five (5) business days, or if a potential winner fails to return requisite documents within the specified time period, or if a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, then such person shall be disqualified and the prize will be forfeited to an alternate winner selected from among all remaining eligible entries received.
PRIZE: Sweepstakes prize varies by day. Seven (7) different gifts, one for each day of the Sweepstakes.
PRIZE RESTRICTIONS/CONDITIONS: Limit one (1) prize per person/family/household/address/email address or Social Media handle. Prizes are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash (this excludes only gift certificates where cash redemption is required by law). No prize substitution, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, if advertised prize/prize component is unavailable for any reason, and only then for prize/prize component of equal or greater value. No prize transfer or assignment by winner. Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules, and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective winner. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. An IRS form 1099 and other tax-related forms and documents may be issued by The Valspar Championship if required by law. Upon request of The Valspar Championship, the winner may be required to return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a scan or photo of legal ID, Prize Acceptance Form, IRS W-9 form, Release of Liability and/or, if legally permissible, a Publicity Release.
GENERAL RULES OF PARTICIPATION: All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide and be bound by these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify permanently from this Sweepstakes any individual it finds to be tampering (or attempting to tamper) with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or any website, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules or to be acting in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. The preceding in no way precludes Sponsor from taking additional measures as permitted by law so as to protect its rights. A prize winner’s entry in this Sweepstakes and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use and publish winner’s name, photograph, likeness and comments for purposes of advertising and trade, if it so chooses, without additional compensation, unless and except where prohibited by law. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an individual who actually submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the social media account used at time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a username/handle by the Social Media platform itself. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
INDEMNIFICATION: BY ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE VALSPAR CHAMPIONSHIP AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES, FACEBOOK, INC., ADMINISTRATOR, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE THAT MAY BE WON. THE VALSPAR CHAMPIONSHIP AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUSIDIARY COMPANIES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE. THE VALSPAR CHAMPIONSHIP AND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM RESULTING FROM ACCESS TO, OR THE DOWNLOAD OF, INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONNECTED WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for purposes of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor and its agencies assume no responsibility for (a) any incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, or by any technical error; (b) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of any website and/or entries; and (c) any problems or technical malfunctions of computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, programming or failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or at any website, or any combination thereof, or for injury or damage to entrant’s, or to any person’s, computer (or any information/materials stored therein) related to, or resulting from, downloading materials from any website participating in Sweepstakes. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute the waiver of such provision. Sponsor is not responsible for any online entry that is lost, late, misdirected or undeliverable, whether due to system errors, omissions, interruption, deletions, defects, delay in operations or transmissions, theft or destruction or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunications malfunctions, entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, faulty transmissions, technical malfunctions or otherwise. Sponsor, their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, respective parents and subsidiaries are not responsible for any typographical, printing or other errors or omissions in these Official Rules, in any Sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials, or other problems or errors of any kind whether computer, network, mechanical, human, electronic, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to, or in connection with, the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, in the processing of entries, in the selection or announcement of winners or in the awarding of prizes. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Sponsor is not responsible for any damage to an entrant’s system which is occasioned by participating in this Sweepstakes or by downloading any information necessary to participate in the promotion.
PARTICIPANT INFORMATION: The Valspar Championship collects the information of participants, including email addresses, names, addresses and phone numbers for the purpose of this Sweepstakes.
