NNERPP ANNUAL FORUM
We are grateful for an energizing learning experience with the NNERPP community at the 2021 NNERPP Annual Forum, which took place virtually last week. In a year like no other, your continued engagement and thought partnership in all things RPP truly inspires us to keep learning, working, and imagining together as a community.

CONFERENCE THEME
This year's theme, “The New 3Rs: Recover, Reopen, Reinvent | Navigating Equitable Partnership Work During This Pivotal Time," was indeed a reflection of our current setting, but also served as an invitation to collaboratively develop ideas and processes for the path ahead. Over the course of last week, in four pre-conference workshops, our opening keynote, 20 live breakout sessions, and two afternoon keynotes, we examined what the “new 3Rs” mean for us as a community as we pursue a vision of a more just, equitable education system guided by more just, equitable partnership work. The NNERPP community’s commitment to creating this kind of change shone through bright and clear last week and made for enriching and inspiring conversations.

THANK YOU
We are deeply grateful for the terrific participation and support of all our attendees. A special thank you to our outstanding group of presenters and facilitators, and to our family of funders, whose continuing financial support and thought partnership makes the Annual Forum and NNERPP possible: The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, William T. Grant Foundation, The Annie E. Casey Foundation, and The Wallace Foundation.
NNERPP STUDENT VOICE FOR RPPs AWARDS PROGRAM
We are so pleased to announce NNERPP’s first-ever awards program, "Student Voice 4 RPPs." First introduced at the NNERPP Annual Forum last week, this awards program recognizes, honors, and further supports existing RPP efforts that have a strong interest in and/or currently support youth involvement in RPP work (for the purposes of this awards program, "youth" is defined as young people between the ages of 14 and 24). Through an application process, NNERPP member RPPs will be selected for awards of up to $7,500 for further developing, expanding, or strengthening student involvement strategies. Awards may be used to support a variety of innovative activities including (but not limited to) focus groups, podcasts, videos, multimedia presentations, and other forms of engagement.

We hope you consider applying! Applications are due August 30, 2021. Learn more and apply
here (NNERPP members only).
RPP BROKERS HANDBOOK
We are excited to introduce the NNERPP-sourced “RPP Brokers Handbook: A Guide to Brokering in Education Research-Practice Partnerships” by Laura Wentworth, Carrie Conaway, Samantha Shewchuk, and Paula Arce-Trigatti. This handbook codifies the work of brokers in education RPPs and illustrates what brokers do through a number of vignettes  and tools contributed by members of the NNERPP community. Through this handbook, we aim to identify the specific and essential role brokers play in enabling public scholarship and social impact, and support current and future brokers in strengthening their capacity to successfully serve in this role.

We are excited for you to explore this resource to learn about and hone your brokering skills! You can find the handbook
here.
