Men’s Basketball to Hold Fall Clinic November 8

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's basketball team will host a shooting and footwork clinic for boys in grades 4-12 on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 1-4 p.m. at the Williams Center on the UW-Whitewater campus. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.
 
Cost of the one-day clinic is $35 and can be paid at the door. Campers who register prior to October 29 will receive a free t-shirt. Checks can be made payable to the Tip-Off Club.
 
The following protocols related to preventing the spread of COVID-19 will be in place:
 
  • Participants must bring their own basketball (with a name written on it)
  • Participants must wear a mask for the entire duration of the clinic
  • No parents are allowed in the building
 
The clinic will be instructed by head coach Pat Miller and the rest of the Warhawk men's basketball staff and assisted by current student-athletes.
 
Miller, a four-time Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and two-time national coach of the year, led the Warhawks to national championships in 2012 and 2014. He has guided UW-Whitewater to six WIAC regular season titles, four league tournament championships and nine NCAA Tournament appearances during his 19 years at the helm of the program.
 
Registration for the clinic can be completed by filling out the registration form and returning to assistant coach Jarod Wichser at 129 Williams Center, 800 W. Main St., Whitewater, WI, 53190.
