Oakland Unified School District students, teachers, and leaders.
 
The Boston P-3 Research-Practice Partnership is an early childhood education partnership between
Boston Public Schools Department of Early Childhood, University of Michigan, MDRC, and Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

UCHICAGO CONSORTIUM EXAMINES LONG-TERM TRAJECTORIES OF ENGLISH LEARNERS
 
In “
English Learners in Chicago Public Schools: A New Perspective,” Marisa de la Torre, Alyssa Blanchard, Elaine M. Allensworth, and Silvana Freire analyze the performance and progress over time of Chicago Public Schools students who enter kindergarten as English Learners.

In “
Limited Certificated Teachers in Washington: Barriers to Becoming Fully Certificated and Needed Supports,” Sun Young Yoon, Caitlin Scott, and Jason Greenberg Motamedi examine the potential of limited certificated teachers to fill teacher shortages by exploring what barriers these teachers report to becoming fully certificated.

MADISON EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP EXAMINES PREDICTIVE POWER OF TEACHERS’ REPORT CARD COMMENTS
 
In the research memo “
Elementary School Positive Behavior Reports and Middle School Success,” Jaymes Pyne and Bo McCready examine the link between teachers’ report card comments in kindergarten through third grade and seventh grade outcomes.
