The Bit-by-Bit project was a small-scale, exploratory initiative focused on supporting an individual trainee teacher to systematically develop, curate, and publish teaching and learning resources for use within tutoring and subsequent PGCE training.Designed as preliminary scoping work for a wider academic study, the project has now concluded and the associated digital application is no longer exposed to the public. The next phase of this work seeks to re-examine the insights generated through the project in partnership with higher education institutions and school-based colleagues involved in the training and support of PGCE/ITE student teachers. We have written a brief summary e-book of the main concepts. There is also a more detailed version with illustrative platform UI mock-ups.
