Stephan is working at SOLVION , based in Graz (Austria) as an AI Evangelist, with a focus on Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI Agents, and the broader Microsoft AI ecosystem. His current work centers on helping organizations adopt and extend Copilot through agent development, extensibility patterns, and change management for AI-driven workplaces.
Since April 2018, Stephan has been a Microsoft MVP for AI & Microsoft 365 Development , recognized for his community contributions through speaking, blogging, and open-source work. He co-founded the BotBuilder Community , a community initiative supported by the Microsoft Bot Framework team, and SelectedTech , an initiative to share knowledge about Microsoft 365 and AI topics.
Stephan’s career in AI started with the Microsoft Bot Framework and Cognitive Services ecosystem, building conversational AI solutions for enterprise applications like Microsoft Teams. As the industry shifted toward generative AI and autonomous agents, so did his focus — today he writes about Copilot Studio, Copilot extensibility, declarative agents, and the evolving role of citizen developers in the agent-centric workplace.
