movies and the freaking out thereof

So it was Friday the 13th (well it was an hour or so ago) and we went to see Cowboy Bebop and Hollywood Homicide. Cowboy Bebop was way cool, and Hollywood Homicide was way cute. I mean, Josh Hartnett? Cutest. Thing. Ever. Loving the hair, babe. And him and Harrison Ford are like Starsky and Hutch! (Well, not really. But you know what I mean.) Ahhh...love those cop-buddy flicks/relationships. Guys, you get to see Hartnett do Yoga! And say lines from A Streetcar Named Desire! Hehehe.

So anyway, the freaking out part? Well, it was Fri. 13th, and so, hey, coincidence! when I guess someone pulled the fire alarm, though we didn't know it at the time, and there was like 15 minutes left of Hollywood Homicide. So warning lights start flashing and the movie cuts off and a little speaker voice is telling us there's an emergency and we must evacuate the theater, so we did. Turns out, someone probably just pulled a false alarm. Guh. And here we thought it was a tornado, or something, since it'd been raining hard earlier. So we missed the last part of the movie! *sigh*

Oh, and, we had to run like a mile to get to the theater from the restaurant we were having dinner at. Dude, we got soo soaked, it looked like we had just crawled out of a river, I swear. It was windy and wet and there was like three inches of water on the ground that we had to splash through. Soaked, like drowned rats. We didn't dry off until Cowboy Bebop was over, so we sat there like idiots soaking wet for two hours. LOL. Fun! No really, it was a great night altogether. :)
