Supernatural S5

I read the S5 spoilers for SPN - and honestly it sounds like more of what we've already seen. Specifically, I'm talking about the Sam and Dean dynamic - more ANGST fest coming up! More Sam trying to redeem himself.

Lucifer sounds interesting though. And I love Meg, so I'm thrilled she's coming back. Not sure how they're going to work Jess into the storyline. Are they going to flashback? Is she going to be brought back as a spirit or a demon?

I'm confused about Castiel - because Kripke said that in the season opener he dies. But then another spoiler indicated that he would be alive - at least enough for Dean to take him 'out on the town to loosen up. Eh?

I think I like watching this show better through dvd sets - otherwise, watching week to week, the pacing is a bit too slow for me to get too invested into the characters, plus the wait between each episode doesn't help.
