Multifandom recs

What I've been reading lately (and all of it is pretty damn unbelievably good):

Torchwood:
Number 33 Rain by tintop_lizzy (Jack/Ianto) - "The SUV breaks down and Jack and Ianto have to cope."
A very limited scene to work with, but the author fills it with nuances and details that really make the scene come alive, as well as the characters. Very evocative, I love the style.

Tryst by rallalon (Jack/Ianto) - "Also known as 'A Blind Date with your Boyfriend, Later.'"
I love this story so much it HURTS. Beautifully written, sweet and bittersweet, haunting and absolutely lovely. Read this, read this now.

Blood Ties by smilla840 (Jack/Ianto) - "'And now, as broken glasses show/A hundred lesser faces, so/My rags of heart can like, wish, and adore,/But after one such love, can love no more.' ~ The Broken Heart, John Donne."
AU. INCEST. But don't let that scare you. Tender and loving and the author makes it all so very believable, and really, it makes sense. The only story of its kind, and it's definitely worth a read.

American Idol:
lingering on by novelized (David Cook/Michael Johns) - "a glance at the transition of the boys during american idol. told through phone messages and small glimpses."
Simple and beautiful. I love the reality of it with the messages. And the small glimpses into their developing relationship tell so much with so little.

turn around, bright eyes by circulation (David Cook/David Archuleta) - "david knows no one here is going to take him seriously."
The relationship between these two is brilliantly depicted. A very real way I could see their getting together happening, and though the style is very casual and easy to read, it is incredibly profound what a few simple sentences can impart.

take your armor off, you're not under attack by heartscientist (David C./David A.) - "The road to the finale is long and confused. As far as Cook’s concerned, it’s a case of the blind leading the blind."
Took my breath away. I got caught up in this story and was completely convinced with how both David's acted, how they spoke. Touching and sweet, in a way only this couple can be, I think. They're a special kind of romantic.

this will all make sense someday by novelized (David C./David A.) - "david cook doesn't really see david archuleta as the annoying little brother. he sees him as something much more."
This is like, THE David/David fic, IMO. Cute and sweet and awkwardly romantic and you get so engrossed with it, a real treat to read. READ THIS, you'll fall in love with David and David.

Iron Man
The Value of Secrets by mayatawi (Tony/Jarvis) - "Tony Stark had secrets."
The ONLY real Tony/Jarvis I've been able to find, with Tony interacting with the AI via the suit. And it is hot. And wickedly pervy. And also very funny and y'know, Jarvis, always the witty AI. Really, this is perfect.

Stranger Things by cruelest_month (Tony/Original Male Android) - "Sometimes if you want a special friend and confidant, you have to build one."
A WIP, this is still very much worth your time. Incredible and witty dialogue, and the characterization of the OMA is very much like an altered version of Jarvis, but think Paul Bettany in-real-life. OK. I kind of want to just like, bombard you all with American Idol David/David slash recs. Because the fic is good, yo. IT IS LIKE CRACK. And there isn't enough of it. Why aren't you all writing David/David? WHY?! I could point to numerous articles of evidence that they are madly in love, and will, if I have to.
