So which program do you guys use to make fanvids and edit your videos? Adobe Premiere? I know I've asked this question before but damn it, I can't find my post which is undoubtedly lost in the far, far past.
Also, how do you go about the vidding process? Well, to be exact, I'm trying to figure out how in the hell someone narrows down the wide arrange of clips from a show (say, BSG) to put into a fanvid. Do you start with an idea already of what you want to depict in the vid, some feeling, some emotion, some theme? Or do you hear a song that would fit really well with the show and then go hunting for clips that well work with the lyrics of the song?

I could never write BSG fanfic. Ever. Do you realize the language that they use is almost completely different, as in the technical terms, even invented words, the many intricacies of the BSG-universe, etc. There'd be so much in-depth research to be done than just simply watching the show. Very complex show.
Oh yeah, and some good movies to watch out for - A Good Year, Eragon, 300, Harsh Times, Stranger Than Fiction, Deja Vu, Blood Diamond because damn it, LEO!
ETA: I've got to buy Equilibrium. Even though I've seen it 3 times. Must own. Does anyone know where Equilibrium slash lives?
