update

So new things, exciting and a bit scary, are happening:

Found an apartment in Austin - going to live with my baby, and I'm excited! Except for the part where the rent is still, I think, too high and I'm nervous about being able to make the payments, but the price I guess is still good for the amount of space you get. Nervous/scared/excited/inlove. Oh lord how I look forward to the housecleaning.

So that means - I'll be without internet next week, the whole week. I might pop online from the school library to check email and lj, but other than that, no I won't be online. If anyone needs me, they can call me.

Also - pissed as hell at the UT Co-Op. I returned like 8 books today and guess what I got back? $14. Fucking christ! Those bastards, those cheap, monopolizing bastards. This semester, in the next week or so, I'm going to be ordering most of my books from them again, with the exception of one or two books I think. I just can't find a better price...except online. But with the shipping and handling from places like Amazon, they still pretty much equal Co-Op prices in the end. Still, argh. Beginning of each semester makes me want to tear my hair out. *stresses* Books are going to cost me more this time - I have three major textbooks, combined close to $270. Then there are like the millions of little books for my other classes, and those add up. Bastards. BASTARDS. I was thinking of dropping my oceanography class but damn, nothing else can fit my schedule.

ARGH. All the interesting classes are all electives. =\
