Today was an okay day. It was pretty good, actually. WOOT! Been a long time since you've seen me post that, eh?
Andy is so cute. I was in ISM today because we both have A lunch, and he didn't have any money so we hang in the ISM room with all the other ISM nerds. I love the crazy, stupid conversations him, Mike, and Jason have - they're so funny!! To any outsider they would look ridiculous in their conversations...I realized this when I stood in the man-circle and listened/laughed at their jokes. Andy is such a cute geek. I stood there and watched him be himself and joke around with crazy, off-the-wall things. I watched him show off his Photoshop nerd-skillz and completely loved it. I watched him pull out the biggest, most comfiest chair in the room and he said, "Sit you down...as Hamlet would say," and thought it was sweet. I love him, so much. He is incredibly endearing and so freakin' cute. I just wanna squish him in a big hug and blow in his ear and make him smile and make him laugh and do naughty things and - oopps! I've said too much.
The absence of loneliness. You forget when you were upset or hurt. The light of today shines brighter than the darkness that was yesterday, last week, last month. It blinds you from the future, and plants you in the present, in one moment out of an eternity of moments.
You laugh as the light shines on you and smiles at you, as the bending rays touch upon your cheek and your lips. You smile and you kiss it back, as no other pair of lips can do so, only yours. Only yours. The light is yours, and you say in a whisper, “Mine,” in a silent whisper. You know the light agrees.
In this light, in its warm glow and loving embrace, you are stilled. In this one moment, you wish it were forever. In the absence of loneliness shines this light of this love. Lighting dark alleys and dark days. It can shine forever.
