birthday

Yep, so today is my birthday. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes - they mean a lot to me and I really appreciate the warm thoughts :) Even though I still had to work today on my birthday - oh well. Whateva! Money does make the world go 'round, unfortunately.

Right now I'm listening to Matthew Good. He is amazing, definitely recommend his music.

Saw Van Helsing last night with some friends. Much fun, although the movie could've been better. Still, I thought it was very entertaining and I don't regret seeing it. Seeing Hugh Jackman bare-chested, and wearing the costumes he wore, was well worth the money! Hawt. Also, the Dracula/Gabriel slash is becoming increasingly appealing the more I think about it. Mmm. Hehe.

Finals are going to be rearing their ugly heads soon. And I'll be up for another fight with the SAT next month. I just can't wait for this year to be over.

My license is expired. :(

BUT - I got a big-ass chocolate cake tonight courtesy of my mother. Yummy goodness, especially the dark chocolate sprinkled on top of the icing.

I think I'll get my mom roses/some kind of flower early tomorrow morning. I've never gotten her flowers before for Mother's Day, so it should be good.

As for fandom related news, I'm still stuck in a rut. Won't have time to do much writing until after May, I think.
