The Word for Hunsrik Plat Taytx

"Hunsrik (natively Hunsrik [ˈhunsɾɪk], Hunsrückisch or Hunsrickisch and Portuguese hunsriqueano or hunsriqueano riograndense), also called Riograndese Hunsrik, Riograndenser Hunsrückisch or Katharinensisch, is a Moselle Franconian language derived primarily from the Hunsrückisch dialect of West Central German which is spoken in parts of South America." The Word provides two complementary Bible verses for each day of the year, arranged on multiple lines for readability, in various Bible editions, free of cost.

Status of The Word

The Word for Hunsrik Plat Taytx is available starting 2026.

  • It shows Hunsrik Bible verses from the New Testament and part of Psalms.
  • The other Bible verses are not yet available in Hunsrik. For these, The Word shows verses from the related German dialect Südsaarländisch.
