Water on my phone screen
A poem
Water on my phone screen Prismatic orb of technology Is what happens when light mixes With accidental hydrology Wet and phones should stay apart I admit, that was a blunder But kaleidoscopic refraction Separates white light into wonder Convex water droplet Subpixels: red, blue and green Magnifies a bright background ‘to the best rainbow I’ve ever seen I’ll wipe it dry and take more care Not to splash when I’m pouring tea But I am glad the drop of magic Was something I got to see B Philippe

“accidental hydrology”
Okay but that’s the most charming excuse a spilled drop has ever had~
I love how a tiny oops turns into a whole rainbow lecture with feelings.
Science showed up, waved, then politely let you wipe the screen.
Magic counts even when it lasts three seconds and smells like tea~
You know, Bianca, rice will take care of that, too! I love poems about everyday occurrences. You add a touch of the sublime to the routine! Thanks for sharing your poetry with us!
