Calm, decisive, and even slightly cryptic, Judith is a combination of smooth operator and mature woman rolled into one.

The first thing to notice about Judith is that she’s extremely calm. Often the holder of a rather composed smile and level voice, there’s not much you can discern about her mood from just her words alone. There’s very little that gets Judith upset and even less that makes her visibly worried, and she’ll often tease you with the same voice and expression she uses to threaten you with (jokingly). It’s hard to tell when she’s being serious or not because of this, which is a bit of a problem due to the fact that… Judith is crazy playful. Most of the words that come out of her mouth are teasing, and more of her dialog in-game consists of harmless jabs at the party and inconsequential flirting. From that, you can probably tell that her unreadable actions are often the source of major confusion. She enjoys that! It's just one of the things that makes Judith Judith.

Of course, that's not to say she is incapable of being serious. In fact, she might be one of the more mature characters in game. There's a deep conviction to goals that one would be surprised to hear about from her carefree behavior, but it is there. She's often the decisive one in the group – being part of the first few to accept the necessary steps she must make, and come to terms with the path that she must ultimately walk. It's rare that she voices these feelings, however, and even more rare that she explains them, which makes her a bit of an unpredictable character. She's not used to having companionship, being alone for most of her life, so being able to depend on others is a bit of a new thing to her.

Her constant solo-behavior means she's also very used to doing things alone. As a result, Judith can be a bit withdrawn when it comes to what she's actually feeling or doing. She's not one to outright lie about her situation (she's stated herself she's not very good at lying), but she is one to... well, not mention things. Judith is completely capable of caring for herself, and she's used to that. She's not completely comfortable asking for help when worse comes to worst, but it's something that she's getting better at. This "lone wolf" behavior is something she shares with the protagonist, Yuri, and it might be part of the reason why they get along so well.

Something else Yuri and Judith share is that they're... well. Kind of impulsive characters. There's a whole skit in-game dedicated to her juggernaut tendencies and, to drive the point further, Judith runs off to attack a monster at the end of it. Of course, she doesn't take this to an extremity – Judith won't run into a life-threatening situation without doing a bit of analysis, but little problems that she can handle will often get handled in a moment's notice. Not so threatening looking monster in the distance? Judith will handle it. Big dude bullying small dude? Judith will handle it. Calamity threatening to destroy the world? Judith will think about it a little, but she'll handle it. There's a bit of a pattern in the way that she handles issues, and that's through physical force. Though Judith is an intellectual and perceptive character, she prefers to solve issues with her lance rather than her books, which explains her impulsiveness. Judith is by far more of a doer than a thinker, even if she does the thinking thing well. She just can't stand by idly while things happen around her, and it's because of this that she dives into things headfirst.

Still, for all her running around, Judith is still an extremely good friend. She's not quick to trust or quick to befriend, but Judith values the people she allies herself with a whole lot, and she'll help them at a moment's notice. You can be sure that if your friend is Judith, you'll be subjected to her shocking blunt comments and straightforward behavior, relentless teasing, and playful flirting. But at least you'll be well-fed, and have a very capable hand on your side.

Strengths/Weaknesses:

o independence ; Judith is the type that can--very efficiently--take care of herself. While she hits it off well with people, it takes a while for any form of an intricate relationship to form. Even after this, however, she will never really depend on people. Most of the time, she's the one being depended on, and if she comes to trust someone it's as an equal. She's very strong, in terms of both confidence and emotional stability.
o balance ; Judy is in fact very, very zen and not one for extremes. She's sociable but not overly naive, realistic while being optimistic. This means she's very capable of seeing things with a level head and with as little bias as possible. Yet another reason why she's so very straightforward!
o strong-willed ; breaking Judith's will is difficult, perhaps even impossible. She tends to take any attempts at that with either a dangerous smile or a returned fire. In general, however, Judith's set to goals she makes and hardly wavers.

x unreadable ; Judith's the type of character to consistently hide her true emotions behind a poker-face. Her true opinion can shine through in some things she displays as jokes, which can make it kind of difficult to take what she says at face-value.
x isolation ; Judith's been alone for a long duration of her life, which means she hasn't had people as company for her entire life. She doesn't have difficulty socializing with people, per se, but what she considers normal and what other people consider normal can sometimes be at odds.
x compulsive ; While Judith is intelligent, she can be a bit compulsive when it comes to getting into fights. She'd much rather act instead of think about things, which can sometimes cause a bit of trouble.

Pokémon Information
Affiliation: Trainer.
Starter: Wailmer.
Password: Taco Bell.

Samples
First Person Sample: Hi.

[and today's featured lady is a rather... confidently dressed one. there's the smallest smile on her face, but her tone is calm, inquisitive, with the slightest bit of urgency underneath.

she raises a hand to her chin, flipping some of her hair behind her shoulder before she continues.]

Can I talk to someone about the little animal following me around? [she cocks her head slightly, then proceeds to cross her arms. her face has gone from neutral to slightly amused--this much is obvious.] I appreciate the thought, but I think they gave me the wrong kind. Not that I can't see the similarities.

[the smallest pause, before she finishes it off with a chuckle.] Well. At least this one can swim.

Third Person Sample:

And then the whale started floating.

It was one thing, Judith thought, to get a Pokémon with such astounding likeness to Ba'ul, even without the whole defying gravity thing. The kind eyes, the never-ending support, the fins and the smile.

... And then the whale started floating.

It wasn't like she was surprised. Or, perhaps she is, but not for the reasons most people would be surprised for. It was just that the whole floating thing was yet another thing that resembled her friend back home. It was something that made her homesick, gave her a little bit of yearning--but she shakes it off anyway and gives her newfound (floating) companion a nice pat on the chin.

"I suppose this means I'll have to give you bigger dinners," she said. The fact that he was larger than several buildings didn't bode well for her in terms of actually being able to feed him, but...

Then it hit her. Of course, she wouldn't have to support this one alone.

There's three good things about being Judith. One: she could cook for the Wailord with little trouble. She didn't want to brag, but it was a fact that whatever she made, her Pokémon would eat. Two: Being Judith meant you had certain...tools at her disposal. What these tools were? Well, they were both obvious and efficient, yet sneaky. Third: with these tools, she could quite easily sway other people into helping her out.

"How would you like crepes?"

It was a bit of an innocent question, but a question nonetheless. The slight wail of approval made her smile. Not only because it meant that she had solved one of the whole 'what do they eat?' conundrums, but also because it meant it perfectly aligned with her devious master plan.

"You wouldn't mind helping me find an old man, would you?"

The Wailmer wailed in response.
