The Better app delivers a new kind of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), called nutritional CBT, that changes the brain so that lasting changes in behavior are possible. Data generated through patient use and remote monitoring enable treatment to be individualized for optimal outcomes, and may be used to improve clinical care.
The Better app is being developed as a potential treatment for type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and other cardiometabolic conditions, while under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
The Better app is only accessible to those participating in ongoing research and development activities.
The app includes:
Personalized daily treatment plans
Therapy lessons
Skill-building tools
Remote monitoring
Continuously updated progress reports
