The Berlin Permacomputing Meet-Up is a semi-regular meeting to discuss the practice of Permacomputing in and around Berlin, Germany.
Even if we are extremely serious and feel some urgency about our work, our meetings generally have a low-key, participation-oriented format.
We strive to include interested participants of all knowledge and experience levels. Some of us are rather "techie" but non-nerd-identified and perma-curious people are especially welcome.
NEXT Meeting L5: A Creative Coding Response to Permacomputing19. April 2026 at 16:00 L5 is a creative coding library in the family of Processing languages, implemented in Lua with LÖVE. It attempts to reckon seriously with principles of permacomputing, including design and documentation for offline use, suitability for older hardware, design for longevity, and exposing the underlying infrastructure. After a brief presentation and discussion of the project, we'll discuss where it aligns and where it strays from permacomputing. |
