I just did a massive flist cut, and if you were removed, sorry. It was absolutely nothing personal, I just really don't have time for LJ anymore (I haven't even checked my flist in nearly two weeks) and I feel like a lot of you I've lost touch with, or I never felt much of a connection to begin with.

I loved last nights' One Tree Hill so much I did a bit of a review/picspam for it. There's something like 70+ images and tons of quotes and text, so it's obviously not dial-up safe.

I love how the costume/hair people put a whole lot of effort into making sure Peyton had a wig that fit in with season one:

... but they totally disregarded canon for Brooke and Nathan:

Nathan's hair doesn't bother me too much because honestly, it's not that different, but hello, Brooke didn't have hair even remotely like that until late season one, and by that time Nathan and Peyton hardly even talked to each other.

And now, a whole lot of pretty N/B-ness:

Haley: Welcome home, Mrs. Scott!
Deb: [not realizing they had a party last night] I'm sorry I left the house like this.
Nathan: Whatever Mom, just clean it up.

Was I the only one who just wanted to smack Nathan? Hi, asshole, your Mom just got out of rehab. Try cleaning up your own mess.

That entire scene made me so happy. All their little expressions, their little glances, just everything was so awesome.

Lucas: Don't you think stealing Brooke's prom dress is going a little too far?
Peyton: No, I think going a little too far is making your friend feel like a whore when you've done worse.

Lucas: Didn't we kinda do the same thing to her?
Peyton: We had sex? That's funny, I don't really remember. Must not've been very good.

And do you SEE the way Peyton made that face at him? It was snarky and just right on. Absolutely perfect.

That face, right there? That's the personification of :(

And there goes what was becoming one of my favorite pairings, Brooke/Chase. I really hope they keep Chase around until the end of the season and that they get back together, but since Stephen Colliwhatever was just a guest star, I doubt it.

*insert Darth Vader-like "NoOoOoOoOoOoO" here*

Haley just looks so lost and confused here, and I love it.

Lucas: Remember when we thought it'd be so cool to hang out with the popular kids?
Haley: I don't think I ever said that, Mr. Lucas Sawyer.
Lucas: Whoah, somebody wrote that on my notebook!
Haley: Oh, okay.

Hee. Since Bevin wants to be a guy, and obviously Luke wants to be a girl they should just trade places. :P

Haley: [referring to Peyton] Well, however nice you're being, it's not enough.

Haley: You've gotta let her know that you're there for her, and that you're nothing like her ex-boyfriend.

Lucas: Noted.

Lucas: But for the record? Nathan's nothing like her ex-boyfriend either.

Haley: Noted.

I think that just made my "top ten H/L moments EVAR" list. They're so cute together.

Why hello there, Farrah Fawcett!

Words cannot express how much I LOVE Brooke's expression. It's a complete "oh, shit!" face.

Brooke: Why do you even care anymore?!
Peyton: Why do I care?

Peyton: Brooke, this has been one of the worst years of my life. And I needed my best friend more than ever, and you cut me out because I was honest with you, and you were never, ever honest with me.

Brooke: Peyton...

Peyton: You made fun of my Moms death, Brooke. You knew her, you cried with me when she died, and now you use her as a punch line for a joke to hurt me.

Peyton: It hurt, it did, but not anymore, 'cause you and me? We're done. You're right, she's dead, and as far as I'm concerned, so are you.

That entire scene just broke me. I'll admit that I've never been a huge fan of Brooke, but whenever she cracked jokes about Peytons mom and psycho!Derek? Yeah, I wanted to just strangle her. I don't care if she hated Peyton at the time, you just DON'T do that to someone you once loved.

"Yeah, I know, I'm a big skanky hoe. Let's move on."

Was I the only one totally expecting Brooke and Rachel to kiss right after this? The music just kinda creshendo'd, and I don't know, just something about that scene totally made me think they were about to kiss. So, I'm just going to pretend they did here:

I love the continuity about Peyton keeping up her boxing.

The entire scene all I could think was "ooh, pretty box!" Seriously. I didn't notice the dress or anything else, I just kept staring at the box.

Deb: I just wanted to thank you for agreeing to move in. It means a lot to me.
Haley: Yeah, sure, I mean you know, you're family, Deb. If you wanna get better, we are here to help.

The words themselves are sincere, but something about the way BJL delivered that line made me think she was being sarcastic.

Quite possibly the most fucked up family ever.

Haley: Notice anything different?
Nathan: You're smiling.

HAH. I normally can't stand Nathan, but I kinda loved him right there.

Nathan: And the list?

Haley: Uh, the list... I just read the one written by the man I fell in love with. I didn't need the one written by that other boy.

Nathan: You know how much I love you?
Haley: You'd better.

Bevin: Does this dress make my butt look big?
Skillz: [grins] Oh, yeah.
Bevin: Thanks, baby.

Junk: Don't walk with me dude, people are gonna think we're together.
Fergie: Please. You could never get with Fergielicious.
Junk: Did you just say...?
Fergie: [looks horrified] Yeah... yeah.

Brooke: It was really awful. Peyton looked through me like I didn't even exist. I mean, can't she hate me? At least if she hates me, she still cares.

Brooke: You've always been there for me, even now when everyone thinks I'm a whore.
Mouth: Nobody thinks that.

Mouth: You might wanna step outta the black light.

Brooke: Oh my god. She cares. [smiles] She cares!

I absolutely loved that scene. You'd expect Brooke to be horrified and pissed off, but nope, she just grinned and hugged Mouth. So adorable.

Deb: Oh, you two look so cute. Wait there while I get the video camera!
Nathan: Sorry. You okay with this?
Haley: I so broke that camera.

How freaking pretty is that frame? I want it so bad.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this scene, but was I the only one left thinking Rachel realized she had feelings for Mouth, and that she's going to stick around to try and be with him?

As much as I love Bethany and Sophia, I have to say that Hilarie came out the prettiest. Her dress, her make-up, her hair... she just looked so freaking stunning.

What's weird about this scene is that right before she opened the door, I thought "I hope it's Derek!", but I meant brother!Derek, not psycho!Derek. But really, how cute would that have been if her brother showed up to take her to prom? But nope, instead we get this:

I don't really like writing about myself. Lately, this journal has just been about fandom and music, and I tend to get pretty ramble-y. Add me at your own peril. D:
