Arizona Gives Day

Kindness can start in a classroom, but through partnerships like Ben’s Bells and the Arizona Diamondbacks, it reaches far beyond. Through the Torey Lovullo Kindness Champions program, students across Arizona are recognized and celebrated for choosing kindness, showing them that it matters and belongs in every space they enter. That impact continues in the community, where young people come together to create lasting reminders like “Be Kind” murals, built through connection and shared purpose. This is what it looks like when kindness is lived, seen, and celebrated.

At Desert View and Pueblo High School, students are showing that kindness isn’t just something you learn, it’s something you lead. From mentoring younger students to recognizing educators who create safe, supportive spaces, their actions are shaping a culture where kindness is real, visible, and shared. Across classrooms and communities, these students are creating a ripple effect that extends far beyond their schools, building confidence, connection, and leadership rooted in kindness.

At Cragin Elementary, kindness is doing more than shaping behavior, it’s transforming how students experience their school. Through a community-led “Be Kind” mural, the campus courtyard is becoming a space for connection, belonging, and everyday moments of kindness. What started as a collaborative project is now a living, breathing reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together with intention.

At Ben’s Bells Downtown Studio, a simple field trip turned into something unforgettable as students from Carrillo Magnet School created a shared “Kindness Disco Floor” in the courtyard. What began as individual chalk drawings quickly became a collective expression of connection, showing how small acts of creativity can grow into something bigger when done together. The result wasn’t just art, it was a moment that shifted how people moved through and experienced the space, making kindness visible in real time.
