Recent Highlights & Achievements

Bellingcat alongside various partners have received six Emmy award nominations. The work highlighted includes our Frontline (PBS) documentary ‘Strike on Iran: The Nuclear Question”, our video investigation covering US border agents movements with Evident and Calmatters: “Operation Return To Sender” and documentary “Antidote” following individuals trying to uncover more about Russia’s poison programme, created with PBS, Channel 4, Passion Pictures, Impact Partners and M4 Studios. Winners will be announced in May.

Our Digital Hate and Harms Team has released a new microsite to document and share information about symbols used by hate groups from around the world. The Monitoring Glossary features some of the most common symbols used in transnational contexts, as well as some symbols associated with hate activity in more specific national, regional and/or cultural contexts. Explore the glossary here.
