College Admissions Strategies

Dr. Young helped me enormously throughout the entire college application process. I am the first child in my family to apply to college. Dr. Young got me started and helped me through my entire application process. She really assisted me in reaching my goal of attending the University of Texas at Austin through her careful advising.

Dr. Young helped me by assisting me in my application process and reviewing my application. She helped me define and present all my accomplishments in high school. I was nervous that my grades weren't good enough, but she helped me realize that my community service time and school activities were important as well.

I always went to Dr. Young for academic planning and with any questions about college. She helped me apply to college and supplied all the required documents to college coaches that were recruiting me. Dr. Young worked with me throughout my high school career to coordinate both the academic and athletic opportunities.

I learned through working with Dr. Young and my coursework that I am excellent in communication skills as well as working with others. Dr. Young assisted me greatly in the college application as well as recruiting process. She even assisted in providing game highlights to send to college coaches.

I first met with Dr. Young when I was a junior in high school. After our meeting, she encouraged me to enroll in a SAT/ACT prep course to strengthen my test scores. We set weekly goals on what needed to be achieved and what needed to be improved upon. Dr. Young provided an abundant amount of resources as well as constructive criticism.
