[Sherlock Inspirations]
Fran Williams: Silhoutte/sorrow and also the colours from the second piece of artwork from the inspiration post (Which is beautiful may I add).
Alice X Zhang: It didn't turn out as bright as I wanted it to unfortunately.
Richard Whadcock + SIT: 'chiaroscuro' and making it black and white.
Ian Francis: I MADE A RED ICON!Sorry. I find red the hardest colour to work with. I used the first piece of art as inspiration.
Fran Williams + SIT: I wanted this to be dark and focused on 'Smoke' (SIT) but then it turned into a silhouette and I preferred a coloured background which was inspired by Williams.
Xue Liang: Mostly just the key words 'vintage' and 'paper', but also the second piece of art.
Richard Whadcock + Fran Williams: I started focusing on the silhouettes as inspired by Williams but then used Whadcock's third piece of artwork from the inspiration post as inspiration for the colours and the lighting.
David Shillinglaw + Alice X Zhang: Again, I aimed on making this a really complex icon as inspired by Shillinglaw but the cap didn't really work so I tried to adapt it to be more like Zhang's (bold and intense) but it didn't really work so it's just a weird hybrid of the two.
Richard Whadcock: I mostly just tried to focus on the lighting and play with the shadows on John's face.
Alice X Zhang: I tried to keep it bright and borrowed my boyfriend's graphics tablet to try the paint-y thing. I failed at the paint-y thing.[Game of thrones inspirations]
Line Osmundsen: I tried to focus on 'pink' and trying to make it look 'surreal 'by stamping sansa's outline with flowers.
Alice X Zhang: This icon was so out of comfort zone :/ I just tried to make it as bold as I possibly could using colours I never use and trying the painting method again.
Xue Liang: Old, vintage, nature and scenery and I liked the overlap of scenery in the artist's work, so I tried to used that too.
Louise LeBourgeois: Blue and calm and I used the first texture suggested.
Ian Francis + SIT:ANOTHER RED ICON. I started by focusing on SIT by keeping it dark and simple, and then used the red and the textures provided from the Ian Francis part of the inspiration post.
Alonso Guevara: 'Colourful' and 'Fantasy' - poor myrcella :(
Louise LeBourgeois: Focusing on 'blue' and 'ice' but I also listened to the playlist whilst I made it.
Louise LeBourgeois: More blue/sea (and still listening to the playlist)
 SIT: Grey, black and death.
Louise LeBourgeois: Back to blue again, but with focus on 'feelings'.
