Bealtaine at 30 - A Look Back
Age & Opportunity celebrates 30 years of the Bealtaine Festival in 2025. In this short video Catherine Marshall, (Board member and Arts Advisory Group Chair), looks back at how and why the festival came to be, with footage from some of the diverse projects Bealtaine has set the scene for over the years.
Hear from our Bealtaine Ambassadors Liz McManus and Mike Hanrahan!
This year, we are delighted to welcome writer and former T.D. Liz McManus and author, songwriter and Age-Friendly Ambassador for Clare, Mike Hanrahan (Stocktons Wing) as Festival Ambassadors.
To mark the first day of Bealtaine, we asked them what they thought of being a Bealtaine Ambassador, the events they are most excited about and what conversations they think will be sparked by this year’s festival.
