It's all about celebrities.

And obsession. And insanity. *mad cackle*

I was in the city again for more ski-related shopping and had decided to head out to Fitzroy to go outlet shopping to see what I could find. I was on the tram, goin down the road, looking out the window, pull the chord so I could get off at the next stop. I pulled it a bit before the stop...gazed out the window some more.

Now, for those not in the know, Smith Street in Fitzroy is this bohemian, cafe culture type big street with factory outlet shopping and cafes and op shops and stuff, but with a few normal shops along the way. This particular bit where I was about to get off was more of a cafe with food shop bit.

Looking, looking looking out the window...shop, cafe, shop, op-shop, cafe...*blink* *think* Vegetarian Cafe. Gorgeous guy in front window. Gorgeous guy with nice hair, nice complexion...

*BeadPixie nearly has a heart attack thinking it's you-know-who having lunch* (where you-know-who is Orlando Bloom). I'm driven. I get off at the stop, walk half the block back to the cafe, all the while thinking "what if what if what if, omg omg omg". I decided that if it was him I wouldn't interrupt his lunch cos that'd be not so good. I walk past....*BeadPixie holds her breath* And it wasn't him. It was a dead-ringer for him. But had slight variations around the upper cheekbones. One hella goodlooker, but alas, no Orli.

The upside to this story is, I kept walking past the Vegetarian Cafe (even that made sense, with him being a veggie and all) and went into an op-shop. Hanging up is this gorgeous black velvet-esque sleeveless coat type thing. $7.50. Perfect fit, perfect length. Perfect lack of $2.50 in my wallet...I dash to the ATM, I get money, I dash back and I buy :)

Weela! I may not have spotted Orli, but I got one cool coat instead, which will probably last me a lot longer than this obsession....here's hoping anyway :)
