So, you've discovered that...
1. Your new computer has
a) Decided to stop detecting your DVD drive
b) Decided to stop detecting your CD-ReWriter
c) Not let your Zip Drive work properly due to an "I/O error"
d) Kindly let you install your modem, with the appropriate drivers, but not let you actually dial up to the internet successfully due to an alleged conflict of hardware or modem configuration thingamy.
e) All of the above
I choose e) All of the above.
On to question 2.
2. Whilst you were beading away this morning, you happened to put two mini-diamonds in the double diamond pattern, rather than a little one and then a big one. Upon trying to unpick it, you discover that at some stage on that little diamond, you actually went -thru- the thread and that the error is now unfixable. You:
a) Try to unpick it anyway - it's worth a go.
b) Make it worse in the process of "unpicking" it
c) Decide that you should undo the whole bloody lot. Chop it to bits. Make it nonexistant.
d) Chop it to bits. All 9.5 inches of it, atleast 4 hours work, all gone within 5 minutes.
e) All of the above
The answer is e) All of the above, again. All 318 beads are now lying on the bead tray. 262 seed beads, 56 3mm druks. All dismantled.
Progress on to question 3.
3. You try to look for some beeswax, which you should have been using on all your beading thread anyway, but you hadn't. This beeswax belongs to your mother who has it as part of her extensive sewing kit. Together, you have been looking for it for a few weeks, but to no success. You:
a) Find it after much digging through miscellaneous bags of ribbon, thread,.
b) Then go to look for a piece of ribbon choker type thing that your mum was working on, but find that instead of being in her work bag, it is nowhere to be found.
c) Think that the Evil Elves (tm) or the Black Vortex (tm) have spat out your beeswax, only to take away your ribbon in its place, thusly making your household forever missing one item.
Yeah, so it's all of those and the household is mad, computers hate me (except for my laptop, which I'm on now), my shoulder is sore from computer use...
So it's been a pretty bleh day.
