1. What are you reading that isn't fanfiction?
I haven't actually read fic in quite a while. Properly that is, like, sitting down to read it and for the sole purpose of reading fic as opposed to something else.
Books I'm reading: Magician by Raymond E. Feist; appendices of LotR.
Other stuff: LiveJournal, newspapers and the like.
2. What music are you listening to that isn't the soundtrack of your favorite movie?
"Classical" music. There, a nice generic term that is misinterpreted by so many.
And some mp3s from all genres :)
3. What creative person or people do you admire who aren't involved in the film or television industry?
Various classical musos who are dead or old or famous.
4. What's your favorite play that you've seen live, on stage?
Life x3, put on by the MTC, which had Geoffrey Rush and his wife in two of the lead roles.
5. What's the best live concert you've ever been to?
Melbourne Symphony's federation concert last year, when they played Mahler's 8th Symphony (Symphony of a Thousand).
6. What do you do when you're not online?
Uni, read, play violin, shop, socialise, fuck. And then some.
7. What do you do for fun with your real life, offline family and friends?
Play music, go places, hang with friends, have inane conversations (thankyou WickedCherub for today!), shag Mr Man, bead, that kind of thing :)
8. If you could produce your own television series or make your own movie, what would it be about and who would you like to cast in it?
I dunno actually. Right at this moment in time b/c I'm on a classical music kick (more so than usual), I'd make a movie that was like Shine, cos it did heaps to lift the name of classical music and get rid of some stigma and stuff.
Or maybe I'd do a sci-fi film and cast hotties that Can Act (as opposed to gorgeous but wooden as all hell) in it.
9. What's the plot of that novel you've been putting off writing while you chat online or surf the Net?
The adventures of a young almost twenty-something girl...oh wait, that's my life. *rolls eyes at self*
Not sure. Maybe a chronicle of some of the weird and wacky things online, strange stories and whatnot, but it'd be out of date the moment it went thru my printer :P
10. What would you do with all your free time if you didn't spend so much time on the Net?
Practice! Become the successful violinist that I'm supposed to be, instead of the "I could practice...but I'd rather go on the net" wannabe quasi-violinist.
