Cronenberg is a sick mofo.

Watched the film about violent car crashes and those who get off about it, entitled Crash. Director David Cronenberg is one sick guy, who is one sick sick sick body fetishist. I thought The Fly last week was icky and gory. Crash was disturbing, graphic, not so gory, but just very very disturbing. I mean, the main character (played by James Spader) gets off fucking this girl's semi-open gashy wound on her leg. She normally wears leg braces due to an accident/crash.
And then the end of the film...well, yeah.
*shakes head in the negative many times*
Cronenberg = Sick fucker
And the thing is, many of his other films are allegedly a lot worse. ie one where this chick has a motorcycle accident and has a skin graft...which causes her to grow a penis in her armpit, which, everytime she goes to hug someone, rapes them.
*rolls her eyes and tries not to think about several of the other films*
But that last one with the penis...when described to us by the fairly dead-pan lecturer, had people in hysterics. Only, I think it was the bad hysterics...or the sheer shock hysterics that make ppl crack up at the whole nuttyness of it all.
