Tuesday's Buffy ("Showtime")

So yeah, the ubervamp is gone and dusted, Buffy's rescued Spike (and not kissed him *Bead!angst*)...
and she's given another and hopefull the last of the Slayer's Lecture Series, bonded the Slayerettes...

And I can't really seem to care. If she had kissed Spike, not necessarily a pash, but maybe just a little friendly one of the cheek, I would have gained a bit more interest in the overall relations of the show...cos they're not really gelling that much, imho. Although the Anya and Giles one is interesting. Have found that one interesting since the identity swapping ep where they thought they were married...(and Spike thought he was Randy Giles etc).

I am considering just keeping on taping eps, stockpiling them for a few weeks so that when I watch multiple episodes I get more satisfaction out of watching the series...cos at the moment, apart from the gratuitous Spike chest, it really isn't doing much for me. Moving slowly in a stop-start fashion that isn't as cinematic and fluid when compared to Angel...in short, it's all pretty frustrating.

Did I mention that Andrew the nerd of pop culture is annoying me too? Will they hurry up already and reveal what his part in the Bigger Picture is already?
