A life less ordinary
I watched my $7.95 video of ALLO today.
It was a cute movie, nice for a sleepy Friday midday before watching the footy.
Random thoughts:
- Ewan's quasi-mullet haircut was...odd and kinda icky. But cute because it was him.
- His accent was yummy, especially when he got all emotional and yelled in anguish.
- I liked Cameron Diaz in this role. I'm not a big fan of her, but she was pretty good.
- Upon reading the credits right to the end, I learnt that Ewan's clothes were done by Gucci and Cameron's were done by Versace.
- It was a fairly cute, easy story to follow. Nice lunchtime viewing.
I'll probably think of more things later. Oh, and Ewan sings in it :D And Cameron Diaz, again, proves that she is tone deaf and cannot sing. And here I was thinking that her off-key singing in My Best Friend's Wedding was deliberate. It's not, although it may have been exacerbated a bit in MBFW. Cos honestly, it's just as bad in this film.
