Apparently, JRM went for a screentest with Linda Broccoli.
ie, he's being considered to be the next Bond after Pierce Brosnan finishes that next Bond film that he's contracted for.
Johnny would be a stunning Bond, the hottest ever...but...his body is all wrong and he'd be more wooden than Timothy Dalton. And that would suck for the franchise. I'd much rather Jude as Bond.
But it is an interesting thought nonetheless, isn't it? *smile*
