Was just watching Rove on the telly (it's a variety show type entertainment thing with celebrity interviews and whatnot) and they had KISS on, cos they're in town to do their concert Kiss Symphony with the Melbourne Symph this Friday.
Now, I don't know much of their music (prolly wouldn't know it if it got up and smacked me around the head)...but it wasn't too bad. The few musos they had from the orch sounded good...but the thing that really got me...all these guys and gals (and I'm talking some of the older members of the orch here, not the youngens) were wearing the kiss makeup.

All these slightly uptight classical musos, wearing kiss makeup and full tuxes and black formal concert attire.
*maniacle laughter*
And the thing is...I'm tempted to go for the sheer spectacle of a 60 piece orchestra with rock band. Most amusing!
