Book update
Officially on the CBF* list:
Blackwood Farm, Anne Rice. Reason: It's been on my bedroom floor for 3 weeks now and I can't even find the motivation to pick it up and take it back to the library.
The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald. Reason: As above re: floor, add a hint of "it's a classic, nice wordsmithing, but a bloody boring narrative".
Haven't started
Orlando, Virginia Woolf. Just haven't had the chance or the motivation to.
Still reading
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J. K. Rowling. Still plodding along on most nights before I hit the sack. It's a good re-read, cos it's been a year between glances.
The Picture of Dorian Gray, Oscar Wilde. Still plodding along, much slower than with HP. It's my "read on the train" book, and with not much train tripping going on lately, there have been major cutbacks.
