Books...Lady of Avalon
I finished Lady of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley today. I'd taken a bit of a break from reading over the holidays (odd I know), hence the time taken to finish it. I had read part of it before, but hadn't finished it.
Was okay, but I think that Forest House, the previous book was a lot better, hence why I also enjoyed the first of the 3 sections in the book more because that was the direct continuation of FH. I enjoyed the spiritual aspects of it and the whole continuation of spiritual patterns and rebirth. I'm a bit of a sucker for the whole "I've known you in a previous life, we're fated to know eachother and be reborn again and again" type thing.
Shall now probably pick up the next book, The Mists of Avalon.
I still have to finish Little Altars Everywhere (Rebecca Wells) too, but don't really feel like reading it at the moment.
Thusly, I think I shall do a re-read, most likely of Arthur Golden's Memoirs of a Geisha, as I found it hidden at the bottom of my wardrobe the other week whilst tidying up.
And it's back to uni this week, which also means more reading on the train, so the volume of my reading will go up again because I nearly always read on the train to and from uni (which is a good hour each way).
