Listens: Better Than Ezra - One More Murder

Today, Yesterday's QAF...

Yesterday's QAF...I liked it, a lot. But...I nearly cried at the end. I knew that it would happen eventually, BUT THAT DIDN'T MEAN IT HAD TO HAPPEN DAMNIT!

*sniffles*

But the whole singing in the Jeep and Daphne OMG'ing after Brian kisses her on the cheek...priceless :)

But Justin...He's still one of my fave pieces of eyecandy, but he is definately getting on my nerves. Brian...hot damn he's a hottie :)

Moving right along.

Today was pretty uninteresting. After the storms that whipped up last night, I got saturated walking across the road to the city-bound side of the train station on my way in to uni. Not Happy, Bead!

Read more of The Silmarillion. Am still chugging along, more out of duty, but not the same "OMG, this totally sucks" that Blood & Gold was, thank god.
It -is- interesting though, I will say that.

Got in to uni about an hour and a half before my first class, went off to practice. Damn, practicing in the morning is good. It is the best. Nice and Fresh Bead, decently awake but cleaning out the cobwebs with Prokofiev and Beethoven.
*dances*
Yet again, it was productive too. It's a really good run :D

[insert standard set of grumbles about Dumbass Tutor]

I then ran off to watch the Coen Brothers' O Brother, where art thou, starring George Clooney. IT ROCKS!
So funny, so postmodern, so very very funny.
And after the lecture this arvo (which rocked something chronic), I've discovered that I have a big like of Postmodern film and find it okay to understand. Plus, after they showed a bit of one of the other Coen Brother's films, Hudsucker Proxy, I simply must see more of their films :)
I mean, they cued Khachaturian's Sabre Dance music to a little boy swining a hula hoop on himself. *rofl*
It's a musician thing, the leader of MYO who also does the subject (and wasn't sitting with me this week) saw me after the lecture and just went "--*sings the vamp followed by the main theme*--* :)

Anyway. After receiving the bloody Take Home Test for cinema, I was late to orchestra, had to climb through a million violins to get to my spot :P
Nice to have a decent proper conductor (who is also a bit of eyecandy) conducting this next program, which is just sooo good :)
Brahms 3rd Symphony as the main work, with the Bartok Piano Concerto and some piece by Elliot. I'm so in love with the Brahms, it's divine.

*swoon*

Anyway. Am still playing catchup with friends list and talking on IRC and whatnot, so I shall end right now.
