Oh, another thing.
I'm nearly 100 pages through Rice's Blood and Gold. Thorne is an idiot. Marius is...whiney. I liked him before, but he's fucking annoying in his long, long diatribe on well, everything.
It's the same as when I was reading Merrick. I want to put it down, throw it away, burn it (ie: return it to the library) yet can't bring myself to do it b/c I must know what happens :P

Anne's style is shitting me to no end. Because a lot of the bits that I'm reading have to do with the events of QotD (the book, not the movie), I keep comparing the writing to that...and it's just not the same. It's shitter. Waaaay shitter.
