Today.../Adventures of my Mundane Life.

Slept more, read Silverthorn (Feist, 2nd bk in the series, after Magician) for about 2 hours, went out for daily shopping with mum (she bribed me with lunch, which was an odd thing for her to do)...tidied up my desk, decided that I wanted a full-blown desk in my room rather than a bureau (more like a desk/cabinet/storage space thing...think, olde english study with one of the desks that has a top that folds up..or something.).
I also want a new desk so that I can have my puter in my room, with an actual bit of desk for work and the like.

And...I did violin -and- viola practice today for some substantial amount of time *grin*
I didn't have any hangups with violin and it felt good and free to play again, which is fantastic. I'm falling in love with it all over again *sigh*

Viola, on the other hand, is shitting me. It's fun, it's a laugh...but the viola itself, the actual instrument, is an absolute beast. It's worth about $300ish and plays like a block of plywood, has a go at my fingers and is about as responsive as..well, something not very responsive :P
But my playing of the pieces and excerpts for viola is coming along quite well considering I haven't played the stuff in atleast 1.5weeks.

I popped in the X-Files movie soundtrack which I'd found whilst cleaning my desk and it's actually quite good, I remember why I liked it at the time :D

Hasn't been such a bad day today, yay for me *smiles all around*
