Podcasts
Solutions To Problems is a fictional relationship advice show/sci-fi sitcom that I produce, co-write, and musically score.
Part of the show is a miniseries I created called Wait Wait Don't Teleport Me!!, an ambient comedy sound-collage about dreaming, time-travel, night owls, and other things.
Two lesser-known podcasts that I love: KPFA's mindwarp massage Puzzling Evidence, and
BBC Radio 4's Round Britain Quiz, which involves cryptic questions.
Poetry
Calligraphy Rainstorm City, a collection of concrete poems I wrote
The Telephodyssey, a re-telling of Homer's Odyssey, via a game of telephone.
404 Haiku Not Found, a collection of 404 (modern) haiku written by 18 people on 04/04/19
Setlist from The Allston Elephant Room, who performed 30 short plays in 90 minutes in 2019
365/365 Challenge - Since 2009, a private group-blog of poets attempting to write 1 to 365 pieces in a given year (email me for an invite)
Brighton Word Factory - Informal/generative writing group in Boston since 2010 (email me for an invite)
Boston Poetry Slam At The Cantab Lounge - Weekly reading in Cambridge, MA
Music
Unstable, an album of folk songs (and a few improviations) by Sarah Jane and Phoenix Renee that I produced/co-wrote/played on in 2014. Album #2 coming soon!
Purple Oranges, the "greatest hits" of The Laughter Epidemic, a shifting ensemble of friends which produced original and improvised pop songs
during jam sessions from 2008-2011.
Blank Start, a collection of mostly electronic music I did on my own from 2004-2011, including songs created entirely out of samples, bad karaoke covers, remixes, and other curiousities.
Listen At Your Own Risk, the "greatest hits" of French Traffic, a lo-fi/experimental/improvised pop duo I was in with Jonathan Klys
from 2003-2005.
Grapefruit is an hour-long conceptual piece from 2009 where I recorded myself repeating the word "Grapefruit" in the flattest, most boring way possible.
Cultural Diffusion, an hour-long prepared mix containing the beginning of 500+ songs, simulating a music player on shuffle. Finished in 2007.
An Hour With Scarlet Smears is a sequel to that mix, using the same format, but recorded live in 2007.
A list of my 500+ recommended Italo Disco (and Italo-related) songs, because I can't get enough.
Puzzles
Mokelfish Puzzles are mostly multi-part variety word puzzles with cryptic, meta, logic, and jumble elements.
