So kommt die Backup-L\u00f6sung auf Abmessungen von 65 mm x 65 mm x 15 mm und wiegt gerade einmal 42 Gramm. Hinsichtlich des Designs unterscheidet sich das Ger\u00e4t von den meisten externen SSDs.<\/p>\n<p>So setzt der Hersteller auf ein quadratisches Produkt mit abgerundeten Kanten, das vollst\u00e4ndig in Schwarz gehalten ist. Die Verarbeitungsqualit\u00e4t geht, obwohl komplett aus Kunststoff, v\u00f6llig in Ordnung. Hier gelten iOS 15 (oder neuer) beziehungsweise Android 10 (oder neuer) als Voraussetzung. Hinsichtlich der Kompatibilit\u00e4t haben also andere externe SSD zumindest aktuell noch die Nase vorn, doch das \u00e4ndert sich, sobald macOS unterst\u00fctzt wird.<\/p>\n<p>Angeboten wird das BeeDrive mit Kapazit\u00e4ten von 1 TB (unser Testmodell) und 2 TB, beide erreichen laut Angabe des Herstellers eine Geschwindigkeit von bis zu 1.050 MB pro Sekunde. Im Grunde genommen l\u00e4sst sich das BeeDrive damit, zumindest am PC oder Notebook, wie eine ganz normale externe SSD oder Festplatte verwenden.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"performance\"><\/span>Performance<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Der Speedtest offenbart, dass der Hersteller hier auch nicht zu viel versprochen hat. Vor allem bei mehreren Gigabyte gro\u00dfen 4K-Videos ist das \u00e4rgerlich. Dagegen bietet Synology jedoch die aktivierbare Option &#8222;konzentrierte Datensicherung&#8220; an. Unter der Haube jedoch punktet die Backup-L\u00f6sung nicht nur mit einer intuitiven Bedienung, sondern auch mit praktischen Zusatzfunktionen, die allesamt unter einem Dach zu finden sind.<\/p>\n<p>Klar kann man Synchronisationen und regelm\u00e4\u00dfige Backups auch mit anderen externen Speichern realisieren, aber eben nicht so schnell und intuitiv wie in diesem Fall.<\/p>\n<p>Wirklich besonders ist hingegen BeeDrop, mit dem ich Dateien in Windeseile vom Smartphone auf den PC \u00fcbertragen und von dort aus direkt darauf zugreifen kann. Nehme ich das BeeDrive mit und es geht verloren, sind auch die dort gesicherten Daten futsch \u2013 auch das hat die L\u00f6sung aber mit anderen externen Speichern gemeinsam.<\/p>\n<p>Damit richtet sich das BeeDrive in meinen Augen an alle, die eine simple Backup-L\u00f6sung suchen, die einfach funktioniert. Einmal eingerichtet, klappt die Datensicherung von allein und ich muss mir \u00fcber nichts mehr Gedanken machen.<\/p>\n<p>Daf\u00fcr ordnet sich die L\u00f6sung preislich auch deutlich oberhalb genauso schneller externer SSDs ein und liegt auf dem Niveau einer SanDisk Extreme PRO mit doppelt so hohen Geschwindigkeiten. Ob einem die intuitive Software und die praktischen Zusatzfunktionen einem den Aufpreis wert sind, muss jeder f\u00fcr sich entscheiden.
