So dominiert die Farbe Wei\u00df und wird von gr\u00fcnen Akzenten sinnvoll erg\u00e4nzt. Neben Bildern des Produktes finden wir auch eine Auflistung der wichtigsten Features, eine Tabelle mit den technischen Daten sowie eine Liste des Verpackungsinhalts. Im Karton hat der Hersteller die Dockingstation mit einer zus\u00e4tzlichen Folie aus Kunststoff ummantelt. Das mitgelieferte Zubeh\u00f6r wurde unterhalb der Dockingstation platziert. Vorhanden sind ein 1m langes USB-C auf USB-C Kabel sowie eine Bedienungsanleitung bzw. Garantieinformationen. Das Geh\u00e4use wurde zur Verbesserung der Optik zudem schwarz-grau lackiert. Dadurch wirkt die Dockingstation sehr schlicht bzw. zeitlos und d\u00fcrfte auf jedem Schreibtisch unauff\u00e4llig platziert werden k\u00f6nnen. Seitlich verf\u00fcgt das Ger\u00e4t noch \u00fcber vier Bel\u00fcftungs\u00f6ffnungen, die eine passive K\u00fchlung der inneren Bauteile erm\u00f6glichen sollen. Zuletzt stattet UGREEN die Unterseite noch mit zwei langen Gummistreifen aus. Die Dockingstation ist schlicht und wirkt wertig. Bei unserem Testexemplar konnten wir zudem keine Lackierungs- oder sonstige Verarbeitungsfehler entdecken. Das Anschlusskabel hat eine gute Qualit\u00e4t und dessen Enden sollten durch eine etwas st\u00e4rkere Ummantelung gut vor Br\u00fcchen gesch\u00fctzt sein. Zu diesen Ger\u00e4ten geh\u00f6rten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1x Lenovo ThinkPad T15 G1 (USB 3.1 Gen 2 Typ C \/ Thunderbolt 3)<\/li>\n<li>1x Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ALC05 (1x USB-C 3.0 mit DisplayPort 1.4, Netzanschluss und PD 3.0)<\/li>\n<li>Samsung Galaxy S10 (USB-C 3.1 mit 5Gb\/\u200bs und OTG).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Als Peripherie-Ger\u00e4te kamen w\u00e4hrend der Tests die folgenden Komponenten zum Einsatz. Au\u00dferdem war die Dockingstation \u00fcber ein Ethernetkabel direkt mit dem Internetrouter verbunden.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1x Lenovo 65W-Netzteil (USB-C)<\/li>\n<li>1x ASUS PB278QV Monitor<\/li>\n<li>1x LG Flatron L227WTP Monitor<\/li>\n<li>1x Microsoft Wireless Desktop 900<\/li>\n<li>1x Logitech M705 Marathon<\/li>\n<li>externes SSD-Geh\u00e4use (USB-C 3.1) mit eingebauter Kingston A2000 SSD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anders als bei den kompakteren USB-Hubs ist es bei der UGREEN CM615 vor dem Start notwendig die entsprechenden Treiber bzw. Softwarel\u00f6sungen auf den Ger\u00e4ten zu installieren, die man anschlie\u00dfen m\u00f6chte. UGREEN setzt dabei auf die DisplayLink Technologie von Synaptics. Treiber bzw. Software gibt es laut deren <a href=\"https:\/\/www.synaptics.com\/products\/displaylink-graphics\">Downloadportal<\/a> f\u00fcr Windows, MacOS, Android, ChromeOS und Ubuntu. Die Installation der Software hat problemlos auf Windows 11, Android und Linux Mint funktioniert. Unter Windows10\/ Windows 11 wurden nach dem Anschluss der Dockingstation \u00fcber das Windows Update sogar automatisch Treiber heruntergeladen, sodass die manuelle Installation der DisplayLink-Software nicht zwingend notwendig gewesen w\u00e4re.<\/p>\n<p>Anschlie\u00dfend konnte die Dockingstation mit dem korrekten Port am Notebook oder MacBook verbunden und \u00fcber die Power-Taste eingeschaltet werden. Nach wenigen Sekunden ert\u00f6nt das jeweilige OS-Ger\u00e4usch f\u00fcr den Anschluss externer Peripherie und die externen Monitore leuchten auf bzw. alle an der Dockingstation angeschlossenen Betrieb\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Der Betrieb der Monitore, der angeschlossenen USB-Ger\u00e4te und des Ethernet-Ports waren zu jederzeit reibungslos m\u00f6glich und haben grunds\u00e4tzlich zu keinen Problemen gef\u00fchrt. Ein Fehler ist uns jedoch beim Betrieb von Linux Mint aufgefallen. Ist die UGREEN CM615 w\u00e4hrend des Bootvorgangs bereits angeschlossen und eingeschaltet, dann bleibt Linux Mint im Startbildschirm mit dem OS-Logo h\u00e4ngen und bootet nicht. Schaltet man die Dockingstation erst nach dem Bootvorgang an, traten keine weiteren Betriebsprobleme auf. Da Linux aber offiziell auch nicht von UGREEN supportet wird, wird dieser Fehler bei unserem Gesamtergebnis nicht weiter ber\u00fccksichtigt.<\/p>\n<p>Des Weiteren haben wir mit unserer externen Festplatte bzw. dem AS SSD Benchmark und mit einem DSL-Speedtest getestet, ob es zu sp\u00fcrbaren Performance-Einbu\u00dfen im Bereich USB und Ethernet kommt. externer Monitor gespiegelt + 1x externer Monitor) und ABB (externe Monitore gespiegelt + Notebook-Display). Das gilt sowohl f\u00fcr Windows und MacOS als auch f\u00fcr Linux Mint. Gerade die Kompatibilit\u00e4t zum ABC-Modus unter MacOS lassen sich viele andere Hersteller sehr gut bezahlen.<\/p>\n<p>Was mit der UGREEN CM615 nicht funktioniert hat ist die Aktivierung von Samsung-DeX. Auf unserem Galaxy S10 konnten wir nur den Bildschirminhalt spiegeln, nicht aber \u00fcber DeX erweitern und wie an einem Desktop-PC arbeiten. Sehr gut gefallen haben uns das zeitlose Design und die hochwertige Verarbeitung des Geh\u00e4uses aus Aluminium sowie dessen Stabilit\u00e4t. Auch bei den Anschl\u00fcssen l\u00e4sst sich UGREEN grunds\u00e4tzlich nicht lumpen. Drei USB 3.2 Gen 2 Ports mit jeweils 10Gbps und zwei HDMI- bzw. DisplayPort-Anschl\u00fcsse mit 4K@60Hz-Unterst\u00fczung sind hochmodern und ultra-schnell. Abgerundet wird diese Anschlussvielfalt durch einen Gigabit-Ethernet-Port sowie die 100W-PowerDelivery Kompatibilit\u00e4t. Vieles davon ist in der angepeilten Preisklasse nahezu ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal.<\/p>\n<p>Das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Manko ist aus unserer Sicht aber das fehlende Netzteil. Nat\u00fcrlich kann man problemlos das Netzteil des Notebookherstellers nehmen (wenn dieses einen USB Typ-C Anschluss hat). Dieses muss in der Regel aber portabel bleiben und kann nicht fest am oder im Tisch verbaut werden. 35-50\u20ac m\u00fcsste mal also nochmal zus\u00e4tzlich investieren wenn kein passendes Netzteil vorhanden ist. Weiterhin ist die Anschlussvielfalt der Dockingstation zwar gut, uns pers\u00f6nlich fehlen jedoch ein Kartenleser sowie ein Anschluss f\u00fcr Kopfh\u00f6rer bzw. ein Mikrofon. MacBook, muss aber an das zus\u00e4tzliche Netzteil denken.
