Mit den Geh\u00e4use HYTE Revolt 3 und Y60, welche wir bereits getestet haben, hat das bereits gut funktioniert. Beim Y40 verzichtet HYTE auf eine solche Kr\u00fcmmung und setzt auf zwei herk\u00f6mmliche Scheiben in der Front und der Seite. Daf\u00fcr soll der Midi-Tower aber viel Platz f\u00fcr Luft- und Wasserk\u00fchlungen bieten, hochwertig verarbeitet sein und durch eine Kombination aus geraden und ungeraden Formf\u00fchrungen f\u00fcr eine interessante Optik sorgen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist aber, dass das Y40 ab Werk mit einer Riserkarte (PCIe 4.0 x16) kommt, mit welcher die GPU vertikal montiert werden kann. Das ist wichtig, da dieser Midi-Tower keine vertikale GPU-Montage erlaubt. So besteht die Front aus Hartglas, welches leicht abgedunkelt und oben sowie unten vom Stahlrahmen des Korpus eingefasst wurde. Bei Bedarf l\u00e4sst sich das Frontpanel durch die Entfernung mehrerer Schrauben auch abbauen. Eine Notwendigkeit besteht hierzu aber nicht. Au\u00dferdem platziert HYTE das I\/O-Panel in der unteren Frontpartie. F\u00fcr Luftk\u00fchler stehen beachtliche 183 Millimeter und f\u00fcr Grafikkarten sehr gute 422 Millimeter Platz zur Verf\u00fcgung. Zudem darf die GPU bis zu 94 Millimeter tief sein. Das ist selbst f\u00fcr eine RTX 4090 und alle erwerbbaren Luftk\u00fchler mehr als genug Platz. Aufgrund des L\u00fcfters im Boden sollte das Netzteil nicht l\u00e4nger als 224 Millimeter sein.<br \/>\nDas Y40 kann aber auch eine Wasserk\u00fchlung gut unterbringen. So passen in den Deckel ein 360-mm- und an die Seite ein 280-mm-Radiator, der dazu noch bis zu 120 Millimeter dick sein darf. Bei unserem Exemplar (Enermax AQUAFUSION ADV 360) musste nicht mal der Heckl\u00fcfter entfernt werden. Betreibt man die L\u00fcfter auf Ihrer Maximaldrehzahl, lassen sich die Temperaturen im Schnitt um zwei Grad senken Daf\u00fcr erh\u00e4lt man aber eine deutlich h\u00f6rbare Ger\u00e4uschkulisse. Ein deaktivierter L\u00fcfter im Boden erh\u00f6ht die Maximalwerte von CPU und GPU um weitere zwei Grad.<\/p>\n<p>Sollte die Wahl auf das HYTE Y40 fallen, dann empfehlen wir im Bereich neben dem Mainboard-Tray die zwei Montagepl\u00e4tze mit einsaugenden L\u00fcftern zu besetzen. Der L\u00fcfter im Boden schafft es durch die recht restriktive Gestaltung der Netzteilabdeckung h\u00f6chstwahrscheinlich nicht, eine GPU mit h\u00f6herer Leistungsaufnahme ausreichend zu k\u00fchlen.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"hyte-y40-test-fazit\"><\/span>HYTE Y40 Test: Fazit<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">HYTE hat es auch mit seinem dritten Geh\u00e4use geschafft, einen interessanten und optisch ansprechenden Midi-Tower zu entwicklen. Durch die Verwendung von zwei Glas-Paneelen gew\u00e4hrt das Y40 tiefe Einblicke und kann mit verbauten RGB-Komponenten sicher alle Blicke auf sich ziehen. Hinzu kommt die Kombination aus geraden und ungeraden Linienf\u00fchrungen der \u00fcbrigen Geh\u00e4useelemente, die f\u00fcr ein erfrischendes Erscheinungsbild sorgen. Besonders hervorzuheben sind aber die vertikale GPU-Montage und die daf\u00fcr mitgelieferte PCIe 4.0 Riser-Karte, welche durch eine hervorragende Verarbeitungsqualit\u00e4t \u00fcberzeugen kann. Abgerundet wird das Gesamtpaket durch eine solide Verarbeitung, ein sehr gutes Raumangebot und zwei vorinstallierte Geh\u00e4usel\u00fcfter.<\/p>\n<p>Deren Gestaltung bietet aber ersten Raum f\u00fcr Kritik. Durch die hellgrauen L\u00fcfterbl\u00e4tter m\u00f6gen sich diese optisch in keinen System wirklich gut einf\u00fcgen. Hier w\u00e4ren Exemplare mit schwarzen Rotoren deutlich neutraler und passender gewesen. Weiterhin auff\u00e4llig war, dass das rechte Seitenteil aufgrund der Push-Pins leicht durch die dahinterliegenden Netzteilkabel nach au\u00dfen gedr\u00fcckt wurde und bei Ber\u00fchrung geklappert hat. Au\u00dferdem finden wir es etwas schade, dass sich HYTE bei der Netzteilabdeckung f\u00fcr Kunststoff entschieden hat. Stahl h\u00e4tte den Midi-Tower aber vermutlich nochmal deutlich schwerer gemacht.
